Family nurse practitioner Tara Raymond cares for the health and well-being of patients in all age groups. She began nursing in 2007 working in the Beaumont system, and became a family nurse practitioner in 2014.
Tara earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. She earned a master’s from the family nurse practitioner program at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Tara is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) and has previous experience in family practice, internal medicine, cardiology, women’s health and postpartum care.
She has a clinical interest in health promotion and education, diabetes care and preventative cardiology. She values working in partnership with patients to reach individualized health and wellness goals.
Tara has lived in the metro Detroit area since childhood. She is married and a busy mom of two children, has two cats and lives in Rochester. When she isn’t helping patients, she enjoys fitness, cooking, and traveling. Tara will be seeing patients in office Tuesday-Thursdays and seeing patients virtually on Mondays.
