Coronavirus COVID-19 – What is our office doing to protect you? – Updated 3/23/20

March 16, 2020 Off By hallerandhug_5p4yf4

These are indeed unprecedented times and we are once again adjusting our office procedures to try to keep all of our patients healthy and safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Today, Michigan’s governor has asked everyone to shelter at home in order to slow the spread of the virus.  Doctor’s offices are, of course, excluded from this order and we will be here to help you with your medical needs during this time.

Please know that it is our goal to contact and take care of every patient that needs us.  Whether you are sick or just need routine health care, we will be here to help you.  We are arranging virtual (video) appointments for all patients that need us.  Your physician will determine if you need to be seen in our office if there are issues that cannot be taken care of with a virtual visit.

According to the latest recommendations from the CDC:

 — if you have a fever or cough you should stay at home.  Please contact us and we can arrange for a phone or virtual visit to help you.

 — if your symptoms are worsening or if you are short of breath, then you should go to an emergency room to be seen.  Please contact us if you need any assistance to arrange this.

We are here to help.  Please let us know what we can do for you.

We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may bring.  We hope that these are temporary and short-lived changes.

Thank you for your continued trust in our office and we look forward to seeing you through out the year (in person or virtually).

Sincerely,

The Physicians and Staff at Haller and Hug, PC.
