I am a metro Detroit native and received my bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in 1988. I then went to Wayne State University School of Medicine and graduated with my medical degree in 1992. I completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in 1995, then joined an Internal Medicine private practice. Seven years later I changed career paths, and subsequently practiced mostly hospital medicine at Royal Oak Beaumont until 2020. During my hospital career, I was a member of the Internal Medicine Residency faculty and was also active in teaching medical students from Wayne State and Oakland University. In 2020, I returned full time to Primary Care. I practice general adult medicine, including preventative care and disease management.
I enjoy getting to know patients personally and collaborating in their care to work toward their very best health and quality of life.
In my free time I enjoy birdwatching and am active in Detroit Audubon. I also enjoy nature walks, cooking, gardening, and spending time with my husband and 2 adorable cats.
